Moroccan fleet operators had exactly one buying option: pay a monthly subscription to a foreign platform — billed in USD or EUR, fleet data routed through servers outside Morocco, no Arabic support, no CNDP compliance. Every local competitor was reselling one of these foreign platforms under a Moroccan-sounding brand, taking a margin without building anything original. The gap that actually blocked Minta from closing deals: no mobile app. Fleet managers run their operations from a phone — a desktop-only dashboard lost to even the cheapest reseller, which shipped at minimum an Android APK.

ICTOM built the piece Minta was missing: a Flutter app for Android and iOS with real-time vehicle tracking on MapLibre GL, live position streaming over STOMP/SockJS, and full French, English, and Arabic support. A vehicle bottom sheet surfaces speed, last-seen location, address, battery, and fuel telemetry at a glance. The mobile architecture mirrors the web dashboard exactly — same JWT auth, same multi-tenant isolation, same REST and WebSocket position pattern — so mobile and web stay in lockstep instead of drifting apart.

Because the tracking hardware only needs a 4G connection, the sole ongoing cost per vehicle is what the fleet operator already pays their ISP for the SIM card — Minta doesn't stack its own per-device fee on top, unlike the foreign platforms it competes with. One fleet operator migrating off its previous foreign platform was paying at least $500 a month — roughly 4,500 MAD — for tracking alone; switching to Minta cut that down to just the SIM card cost. On the platform side, ICTOM built for scale from the start: the architecture supports between 2,000 and 5,000 vehicles, each reporting its position every 5 seconds, so Minta can grow from its first fleets to a national footprint without a platform rewrite.
